Adison at 9 Months

This morning I shot Adison's 9 month photos. It was fun until we tried to put the tutu on her! She hated it! But before it was nap time we got some super cute pictures. Here is the preview!

Ada Bridge Engagement Session

I've been wanting to do a photo shoot at the Covered Bridge in Ada, and today was my chance! It was cold but it was a fun session! Jennifer and Gerald were great sports and braved the cold with me. I've known the bride (Jennifer) for a very long time, even before high school....we used to be neighbors and were together all the time! I'm so excited to take their wedding photos, if today was any indication of how fun this couple is, their wedding will be a wonderful day! So today I had the pleasure of photographing friends who are having their first baby! Ryan and Natalie are due in about a month! I was really excited and nervous to try this, as I had never done a pregnancy shoot before. It was nice to do it with friends to get a great start at it! Well the photos are turning out better then I could have thought!! I'm so excited for the two of them to see them! Hopefully they like them as much as I do! Adventures on Lake Michigan

Today Channon took me for an adventure on Lake Michigan...Yes we were standing on Lake Michigan! It was freezing, the ice was hard to walk on, but we sure had a ton of fun! Of course I took along my camera...Channon even took some shots! It is nice to just take some shots for the pleasure of it, helps me get back to my creative side!

Holly and Tyler

This past weekend I shot a wedding that I've been looking forward to for some time now! I met Holly and her mom about a year ago to talk about Holly's upcoming wedding. I was so excited to get to be their wedding photographer! This past summer Holly, Tyler and I met to take their engagement photos and I knew then that this would be a great wedding! They are great together and willing to try just about anything to get a good shot! We had such a great time taking their engagment photos I was really looking forward to their wedding. The day started with a morning at the salon and a ended with one of the most beautiful receptions I've ever been to! Holly was a girl after my own heart with the red accents (which is exaclty what I had for my wedding) and a Christmas affair fit for a princess! Every little detail was perfect, she even got Tyler to take dancing lessons! It was a perfect day and their marriage is rooted in strong faith that will last them a life time!
